This set includes
4 - Door Side Armor Trim Panel with bullets
The bullets are made by 3D Printing. We use ASA filament, which is UV and water resistant. Even though these are 3d printed, we smooth them, so you do not see visible printing lines, so these are superb quality.
These are printed using top end 3D printers, not hobby machines. No distortion, or print quality issues. We do not sell subpar quality items.
We then weather the bullets and panels, the bullets are mounted to the panels using brass inserts heat set into the 3d printed bullets, and mounted using a bolt from the backside of the ABS plastic impact panel.

The panels apply to the side of the vehicle using pre-applied two face tape.
The panels are made from impact resistant ABS (these are sourced not printed).

1. What's the difference between ABS and ASA?

ASA is a modified version of ABS that contains an additional acrylate component, which improves its weather adaptability and UV resistance.
ASA retains the impact resistance and processability of ABS while providing better resistance to fading, yellowing, and degradation from sunlight exposure.
2. What is the difference applications between ABS and ASA?
ASA is ideal for outdoor applications, such as automotive exterior parts, signage, and outdoor equipment, thanks to its enhanced weather resistance and color stability. ABS is a versatile material with excellent mechanical properties that is commonly used for indoor applications.
3. What are the similarities between ABS and ASA?
In terms of physical and mechanical properties, both exhibit good impact resistance and high tensile strength, with almost the same levels of strength, toughness, and stiffness.
Lucid made designs is not responsible for the mis-wiring of your door jamb vents LED strip. Professional installation is recommended. We test every set before shipping, we will not replace LED strips that have been improperly wired and shorted out. Any painted items may require an extra 2 days processing for paint curing before shipment.
* Painted choices include base color (color selection) and also clear coat. This is automotive clear sprayed from a gun. The price is priced according to materials and labor involved. We do not paint every day, we paint every two weeks depending on order volume. Choosing a painted option will delay the order processing time.
