1978 1979 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass LED Tail Light KIT is a custom LED panel made specifically for the 78-80 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2 door coupe, with the tai light design as shown in the pictures.
The KIT includes the 4 - pre-wired plug and play LED pods. (tail light lenses, covers, housings, are not included)
Simply remove your tail light bezel, tail light lenses, remove your existing bulbs, screw the 1157 receptacle into the socket, apply the pod with the pre-applied two face tape into the appropriate tail light bucket (each pod is labeled as to the side and location on each side) and reinstall your lenses and bezels. THAT'S IT! Now enjoy your new lights!
There are 4 LED pods per side, 8 total, and 108 LEDs per side! These will make sure your car is visible to traffic behind you protecting your investment!
These do not require an LED flasher, they are plug and play with an 1157 socket wired into the LED kit. Simply peel the strip of 3m Red liner two face tape, apply and hold for 60 seconds, after screwing in your 1157 receptacle. Make sure your lenses inside are clean before applying.
The reflectivity of the inside of your lens does not matter with this kit.
Don't worry if your lenses are worn or cracked, we will be releasing new tail light lenses available in clear and red soon! We will link them here when they are ready and will be offering a combo price.
Approximate thickness is 3/16" of the backing plate.

The backing plate is made from Cast Acrylic, extremely durable, UV resistant, shatter resistant. Each item is hand made in batches.
